I am Audrey Lingstuyl, an experience designer and researcher infusing calm into design.

With a background in communications, semiotics and information architecture, my path has led me to specialize in experience design. I hold a Ph.D. centered on design for calm, my journey spans 16 years of experience navigating diverse landscapes—from impactful roles in NGOs and governmental organizations to enriching experiences in education, hospitality, and the arts.

My commitment is to design for change and make the world more innovative, calming, peaceful, and healthier.

I have had the opportunity to work on many projects in very different settings, in creative agencies, as a freelancer and cofounder, and in in-house positions, learning and gaining valuable experience along the way.

I love delving into abstract constructs and untangling complex problems and systems. I thrive when collaborating with teams to design and develop thoughtful experiences that resonate on a personal level.
